Halfpenny at war was a World War II re-enactment by the northern forties re-enacters. There was an excellent array of uniforms, vehicles and equipment on display, both civilian and military. All the re-enactters were more than happy to be photographed (its still polite to ask though!) and there was the opportunity to hold some of the weapons and to sit inside some of the vehicles.
